Senator Taylor requested that the reconsideration on SENATE CS                                      
FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 44(RES) Strongly                                              
urging the President of the United States, the United States Congress,                              
and appropriate federal officials to support the construction and                                   
operation of the Alaska Highway Natural Gas Pipeline route, be taken                                
up. The resolution was before the Senate on reconsideration.                                        
                                                                                                    
Senator Taylor moved that the bill be returned to second reading for                                
the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 1.                                    
Without objection, the resolution was returned to second reading.
